Qual Diamond categorizes our diamond powders by the physical properties of the raw materials and chemical treatment methods. We have both monocrystalline and polycrystalline diamond powders with different treatment methods. They are categorized as QMM HPHT Monocrystalline diamonds, QPD detonated polycrystalline diamonds, QND nanoparticle diamonds, and QMR round diamonds. Our treatment methods offer Hydrophilic (H), and Deagglomerated (D) series types. Qual Diamond’s surface modification technology and latest special size treatment methodology conductr the prevention of particle agglomeration which consistently yields precisely narrow size distribution. Ultimately, our diamond powders are the optimal solution for lapping and precision polishing of superhard materials; such as: SiC, Ge, tungsten carbide, sapphire, spinel, ruby, optical fiber materials, and many other advanced material substrates found in manufacturing for optics, semiconductors, advanced ceramics, and metals.

Classification from production process
From manufacturing technology,, . Our diamond powders are categorized as QMM Mono Series, QPD Poly Series, QND Nano Series , and QMR Round Diamond Series. QMM and QMR Monocrystalline diamonds are made from a high pressure and high temperature synthetic method. It is one of the hardest and purest carbon based materials which provides our customers’ with high efficiency, low time consuming lapping, thinning, and precise polishing processes after Qual Diamond unique treatment. QPD Polycrystalline diamonds are produced from a detonative method with very rough surface morphology. Through our special treatment, the poly diamond options maximize productivity in lapping and polishing processes in a wide range of applications.
